Colliers Interntional and Eurisko Consulting, the leading companies on the Romanian real estate consulting market, have doubled their businesses this year, to 22 million euros and 12 million euros respectively, and expect to benefit from fresh market growth in 2008. Colliers (the market leader) targets a 30% increase next year, to 40 million dollars (29 million euros), says Bogdan Georgescu (photo), mnaging partner with the company. The companies are the only two on the Romanian market to derive over 10 million euros each, while the next important players, such as Cushman & Wakefield and DTZ Echinox derive turnovers worth around five million euros.
In Romnia, Colliers has a team of 75 people and a portfolio with over 65 exclusive projects, in all sectors of the real estate market. Its most important clients include companies such as Portland Trust, GTC and Immoeast. Eurisko (number two on the market) also intends to double its business in 2008 and derive around 24 million euros. "We are on target to meet the 12 million-euro turnover budgeted for this year. What we want to achieve next year is to double our turnover," says Radu Lucianu, Eurisko managing partner. If the two companies meet their targets, both businesses will be worth over 50 million euros, which is the same value estimated for the entire market this year.
